An Analysis of Guange (μ̫) in ¡ºYixuerumen(ì¢ùÊìýÚ¦)¡» from the Perspective of Emergency Medicine

Abstract
This study understood guange (μ̫) in ¡ºYixuerumen¡» from a new perspective and evaluated the value from the perspective of emergency medicine. For this, it compared and analyzed the definition, symptoms, and treatment methods of guange in ¡ºYixuerumen¡» from the perspective of clinical presentations of modern medicine with one another. Guange includes nausea and vomiting, dysphagia, dysuria, and constipation and does not do diarrhea. A representative disease related to dysuria is uremia, something related to constipation, nausea, and vomiting is enterocleisis, and something related to dysphagia is chronic esophagitis and esophagus cancer. Li Chan, the author of ¡ºYixuerumen¡» recognized guange as the emergencies of serious eating and elimination disorder as various symptoms of diseases (Ü»ñø) gradually get worse from the perspective of external diseases (èâÊïÜ») and miscellaneous diseases (íÚÜ») and handled it in various ways including yin-tonifying medicinal (ÜÍëäå·), qi-tonifying medicinal (ÜÍѨå·), qi-regulating formula (×âѨð¥), phlegm-dispelling formula (ËÛÓÃð¥), and shushenghuajaing (â©ã®ûý˽) in addition to emetic formula (õÊ÷Îð¥), formula (?××ð¥), and interior-attacking formula (Íô×êð¥).
The contents like guange in ¡ºYixuerumen¡» were somewhat useful when handling the applicable emergencies at the level of then medical treatment.
